Penguin Class have really enjoyed Forest School these last few weeks. They have made zoo animals form mud and clay on the trees in the Forest School area.
They then independently decided to make bigger fairy houses and fairy gardens from clay and natural materials.
They explored around the site with magnifying glasses and found mini beasts, ladybird larvae, spiders and worms.
The children planted herbs to use in the mud kitchen. They renamed mint the toothpaste herb! Their green fingers did not stop there. The children have also been weeding and watering the potato plants and picking strawberries.
