Homework
Spelling homework : Your child will receive spellings that are required to be known by their age group. This spelling list is sent home at the beginning of each term. These spellings will be tested, randomly, on a fortnightly basis.
Children are expected to practise their times tables regularly, which are tested three times per week. Children should be aware of which times table they are focusing on, in accordance with their 66 club assessment.
It is vitally important that year 5 children are confident in their times tables up to 12x12 by the end of year 5, as this will significantly help their learning going into year 6.
