Dear Parents and Carers
As you are aware I am always looking at what is working well in our school and celebrating this and also what could be improved at Southam Primary and addressing the issues raised.
To gain a clear picture of what is working well at Southam Primary School and how our school could be even better it is important that I receive feedback from staff, children, parents, governors and the local community.
I have recently been talking to the children about what makes our school such a brilliant place to be and what we could do to make it even better.
The children were very strong in their views that they enjoyed coming to school, that they feel safe at school and that adults in school care about them. The points raised by the children for further improvement was for them to be made more aware of how well they are doing in school (14%) and understanding how to be healthy (8%). These are actions that I am currently looking at addressing with the children and teachers.
I would therefore be very grateful to have your views about our school- as they are incredibly important to me. Southam Primary School is a community school and community is at the heart of what we do, as together we work to provide your child with the best learning experiences and opportunities we can.
I have therefore attached a questionnaire to this letter and would be very grateful if you could spend some time completing the questionnaire. Please could completed questionnaires be returned to school by Monday 13th June.
Alternatively you can complete the questionnaire on line by going to the following link:
If you would rather talk to me about any of the questions raised in the questionnaire rather than complete the form please do not hesitate to contact me and we can arrange a time for a chat over a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit.
Many thanks for your time and support.
