As you will be aware the children have nominated the Kenilworth Dog’s Trust as their charity of the year. During the year each class will take part in fund raising activities to raise some money for this charity.
On Tuesday Anthea from the Dog’s Trust came in to school with her dog Bailey to talk to the children about the work the Dog’s Trust does. There are about 16000 dogs in a Dog’s Trust centre and every dog needs: vaccinations, flea treatment, collar, bowl, food, brush, grooming, vet check-ups, bed and blankets and walking every day. The money that the children raise will goes towards all these items and activities.
